CEO T.E. “Tip” Clifton III has 22 years of experience in guiding the development of emerging information technologies and analytic methodologies into practical system solutions.

Mr. Clifton co-founded Eastport Analytics after four years of consulting for military intelligence, competitive intelligence, pharmaceutical and patent analysis organizations. This work was focused on guiding the transition of advanced technologies for support to information analysis and insight management into effective operational use. This experience was preceded by a Vice President position at ISX Corp., and a Program Management position at the Joint National Intelligence Development Staff where he was responsible for the development and application of advanced analytical technologies.

Tip's focused experience is built on a MBA from the University of Texas, and an AB degree in Computer Sciences from Harvard University.

When not shaping Eastport's direction, inspiring staff, or interacting with clients, Tip can be found enjoying his passion for sailing off the coast of Annapolis, Maryland.
